A round trip E ticket and park and ride fee is almost $17. I can park for 8.5 hours in the loop for $18 using SpotHero.

Why the fuck would I take the train?

Cars run on gas and traffic is stressful.

So you don't have to get stuck in stressful traffic, save on the gas money you left out of the equation, and you can read or work or fuck around on this board instead of drive?

WRONG.

I dare you to spend more than 10 minutes in my millennial son's car without a HAZMAT suit.

one jackass talking in the quiet car brings on enough stress in me to cover a whole month of driving in traffic.

i love the quiet car enforcer. my A-B ride is too short to care/scold. but it's nice when the QC vet lays down the law.

I yelled at somebody a couple months ago. Turns out we weren't in the quiet car. I apologized to the guy and thankfully he was good natured about it.

I can't figure out how you have 50 people in a quiet car and one asshole talking and nobody says boo about it.

my wife used to take the 6am from ravenswood and rode with her sister one time. her sister was visiting from detroit and was unaware of metra etiquette. my wife had to quietly yell at her to shut up even though they weren't in a quiet car as she was getting dirty looks. every car is a quiet one when you've dragged your ass to catch a 5am train.
