What in the hell is this B.S? Guys are sitting out games based upon this particular "injury" though no one ever actually says what it is. Sounds like a cure for constipation to me.

Its because the regular season doesn't matter and there are only three, four, maybe six teams at most that have a legitimate chance to make the NBA finals.

Was he? The first I heard of it was probably Jan. It was Lebron but if Kawhi was the first guy to do then ok. Its just funny how these guys are now using this term to justify sitting out.

I can see a guy like LeBron sitting out a game or two with all the miles on him.

Kawhi sitting out like a quarter of the season when he's in his prime and fully healthy is completely outrageous and it's crazy as hell to me there's not more national pushback on it. If I was an NBA writer I would leave Kawhi off all three All NBA teams and it would be a pretty easy decision.

I think Kawhi was one of the first, but I blame Popovich for it since instead of rotating the rest days for his stars, he would sit Kawhi, Duncan and Ginobli the same damn game. But even then the Spurs would win, so it was hard to complain.
