He also gives a lot of credit to Abreu also. You can tell the two of them are close and are always talking things out in the dugout. It is cool to see a star like Abreu take a youngster under his wing like that. The key to me in his swing is that he is gripping the bat so lightly and moving it to the ball easily. I kind of think that this actually increases bat speed because the muscles and joints are not all tensed up. I don't really know the physics of this and wish Keyser was still around because he knows more about the baseball swing than I do being a pitcher and pitching coach.

Whatever he is doing, though, he looks so relaxed up there it is wonderful to watch and with Abreu protecting him he should have a monster year.
