But the Cubs do seem to be undermining Maddon the same way the Blackhawks undermined Quenneville. They've all but moved Maddon's office to the basement; it's almost insulting to keep him on with someone else picking his staff and someone else telling him how he's going to run his clubhouse. They should have launched him over the winter if they wanted to, which they obviously do.

How is that even possible?

I think they told Maddon to do things differently, he said tell it to my 95 wins per season, assholes.

So they took away Happ in an effort to force him to go with Almora and Schwarber every day and he said fuck you have some Zagunis, bitches!

Also I believe they were on opposing sides in the launch angle war of 2018.

You know those Cubs fans who completely lost faith in Maddon after his horrible moves in Game 6 and 7 of WS?

Theo has some of that in him. You hear it when he talks about Game 7.


Also the not following the Morrow instructions last year is enough to cause a divorce

With all Theo's recent struggles signing FAs, how do you think he felt when a guy who was actually performing well gets hurt and quite possibly because Maddon ignored the warnings?

It didn't matter in the whole scheme of things, but it seems like he's not even taking it seriously. They only had 12 more at-bats at that point, and they're down five.

It did kind of seem like a fuck you to Theo.
