Sadly, so is their bullpen.

Cubs bullpen era 9.51. They caught lighting in a bottle the last few years with a rag-tag bullpen. Guys off the scrapheap performed amazingly. This year's pen is even more rag-tag is what's scary.

The modern definition of bull pen is crapshoot mostly.

If they score 12-15 runs a game they should be fine.

The pitching is beyond help, which is crazy considering it was the best in baseball a couple years ago.

If Championships is all that matters, Theo and Ricketts have only produced occasional success to this point.

You'd cut your tiny Polish cock off to experience a best record in baseball for 4 years with one WS ring.

Joe on with Larry. Larry refuses to ask tough questions. Tries to pass off soft questions as deep.

I dont understand what you're saying here. Can you explain?

You think they are just throwing guys out there hoping for the best? and that they are doing that more than in the past?

True, but most of their scrapheap guys never had mlb success. A lot sucked even in the minors. If they can sprinkle magic dust on the bullpen bums?

It is generally accepted that you can’t count on even “good” bullpens year to year. Lots of movement, injury and other circumstances.

I dont think that is a specifically modern thing.

There seems to be more injuries in the bullpennig era. Crazy Joe regularly uses up to 6 pitchers a game.
