I wonder why virtually no other fast food place has followed McDonald's lead on that. Soda is by far the largest markup in all of fast food, yet McDonald's seems to believe it's in their best interest to charge essentially half of what others do.

Yeah, you just eat it. You eat it in refillls and cleaning that disgusting thing anyway. We do bottles and cans, I'd rather just give somebody a free second can of pop that deal with all the detritus.

Last trip I did not hate Buona. Also Pops used to be good but haven’t had in years. The Taylor street stuff was good.

I was never a fountain pop fan...I would suck it up when at a fast food place...no refills and I usually wouldn't even fill it up...just enough to get through, but as a whole, since I quit drinking pop full time about a year ago, yeah, everyplace I go has iced tea. Unsweet. Black...just like my coffee.

And those Coke Freestyle machines are the absolute worst...some of the residual flavors hanging out...disgusting.

I haven't lived near a Buona in many years. If you go back to 1997-2000 when I lived in Roselle / Addison area....the Buona in Glendale Heights was phenominal....way better than Portillo's.

If Buona has declined...I have no defense.
