Wasn't Luke's whole point that Jedi/Sith labels were all bullshit? After all, the only way he ended up beating Vader is when he briefly flipped the Dark Side switch on in RotJ. I mean, I'm all for the tradition of Jedi/Sith and was madder than a raped ape after it seemed like they were trying to bury that distinction to some degree, but by the same token, have a tweener character would be inneresting, I think.

Anyway, like I said when the movie came out, these Star Wars movies aren't really being made for us folks that have seen them all first-release as yutes ... they're made for these weirdo yutes of today.

If nothing else is worth a damn in this movie, I'll be very happy with a nice, long segment or two with Kylo and his Knights Of Ren just absolutely wrecking shit NWO-style. Hell, play 'Voodoo Child' during the scenes.

I said it after last movie. Now with Luke gone and Carrie Fisher's unexpected demise we just have movies. There are no more special connections for us that were there from the beginning. Now quality arc or replacement legends. They are just good movies or not.

Maybe younger people connect with new characters like Rey and Kylo Ren? I don't feel it.

The biggest problem for me in XIII was introducing concepts that are incongruous with the battle/fighting strategies of previous films, notably the ship being flown at light speed into the enemy (surely someone would have considered or foreseen that type of attack), and Luke using The Force to teleport his image (Yoda could certainly have done that in several prior situations if it were possible).

Nothing in the last movie made any goddamn sense with respect to all of the other Star Wars movies ever made. The last movie is pure shit. They should destroy all copies of that and make a new VIII and start again. My god the last one was awful.
