I’ve talked this shit back to Nas way back in 2008 but there’s not a doubt in my mind he’s the best coach in the history of the NBA. I realize resume wise this isn’t true but Phil isn’t close in my mind.

I agree with you. Phil walked into teams where the talent was already in place; definitely a point B to A coach. Pop has built teams and consistently won with the same franchise AND been able to adapt his system to fit today's game.

That 2013-2016 run Pop and SA is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in sports and will ever see going forward. There needs to be a proper 30 for 30 done on it some day. If Ray Allen misses one shot the Spurs would be looked at historically the same way I view them currently.
