Great article

Murphy made it clear that Rodgers would need to accept coaching. "Don't be the problem," he told him. "Don't be the problem."

Narrator: Aaron would be the problem

Still yet TBD. The only other constant variable - who most definitely was a/the problem - has been removed. We'll see how Aaron does next season.

This seems accurate

If LaFleur does strike that tricky balance and revitalizes Rodgers, Jennings thinks his old QB can enter the GOAT/Brady stratosphere. He's just not sure how willing Rodgers is when the quarterback's first public comments about the hire, at the NFL Honors, started off with the words, "A lot of change, in life in general, it's tough at first." That's all he needed to hear. To Jennings, that quote practically guaranteed how this will go down.

"I know how Aaron operates," Jennings says. "For him to make that statement, it already lets me know he's going to make it hard on a young Matt LaFleur."

Impossible to say. It would be like asking Rachel Maddow about Trump and saying her response seems accurate.

Ryan Grant makes a solid point about the genius of Rodgers

Quote:
Think of mankind's never-ending debate over artificial intelligence, Grant says. "When you put a quarterback in a position and you talk about how cerebral he is and you give him flexibility to make some changes, guess what? … You develop A.I., because it has the capacity to run without you. And then when it runs without you, it's like, 'Wait a minute!' But in the same breath, if you're not actually able to stay ahead of it, it's going to outthink you and it's going to say, 'Me making the decision is the better decision.'"

And so, Grant adds, "You live and die by his greatness."

Dysfunction at its finest. Its not quite as bad as the Bears & Trestman, but its pretty close.

If there is one thing you can take to the bank its a grindy TE from Iowa. I am all in.

Kiper and McShay both have the other Iowa TE (Fant) with the 30th pick. Im good with that but the big concern is they also have the Packers selecting DK Metcalf with 12...please don’t. Classic combine stud, player bust.

I said awhile back Metcalf is the only pick that could upset me at 12 and I don’t think they’ll do it.

Absolutely cannot go wrong at 12 with Oliver, Hock, Burns, White/Bush, or one of the top 2 OTs.

Ideally I’d love:

Oliver, Harry, Adderly

Seeing a lot of Metcalf to GB rumors like the above. That would suck at 12 with so many other great options. I'm sure I'd talk myself into it though

12-4 sounds about right. Last week could be an L if they want to rest their starters having already won the division and locking up a 2 seed

With all that travel, they will not win both the SF and NYG games.

SF will be an ok team so whatever but this is a hilarious comment. The Giants are terrible.

You think they’re gonna beat the 3 best teams on their schedule and lose to the 12 worst? Bold call.

And as terrible as they are, they will will win 3 or 4 games this season. One of those might be against the Packers.

I think they showed how afraid of him they were in Week 1 last year.

We still have picks 12, 30, and 44 to address this as well as the rest of our picks. We have four picks before the Bears pick at 87th.

You guys had a 1 year window and took the North in a weakened year and promptly loss to a shitty Eagles team. Nice work. The North will come back to its rightful owners this year with a healthy and motivated Rodgers.

As of now I’m leaning towards

1. Jawaan Taylor
2. Hockenson
3. Jonah Williams
4. Devin Bush

With the 12 pick, it’s possible none of the 4 are there though.

I love that pick from a bear fan perspective. Enjoy four disinterested seasons with brief glimpses of excellence

Sounds like most of our top DL picks from the last 15 years. Oh well. We could be wrong I guess.

Uodate: I'm in the very beginning stages of talking myself into this. Great athlete. Tremendous front 7 group to learn from.

Hope Chase Daniel is ready for prime time.

Yeah probably but nobody knows anything. Might work out. Savage and Smash are the biggest upgrade to any positional group in the league this offseason.
