This entered the world of stupid long ago, but this might qualify as the dumbest thing said here. And wasn't similar thought obviously right in line with the MLB ruling? If the pitcher had called Anderson that, the consequences clearly would have been far greater than they were for Anderson using the word, but usage by anyone is discouraged. Is that really anything to be upset over?

Anderson is the guy who looks the best in this. He hasn't complained or really said much about it at all. He took his day and that's that.
