listened to some of the podcast from murphs show today.

Caller called up asking about Chet and what their response was. But he then had a white sox question and murph and fred only answered the white sox question and ignored the showing respect to chet question.

Not sure if they addressed it later in the show but bad take on murph. Not sure what the relationship was but still, petty.

Wasn't aware of a riff. But sadly Chet ruffled a lot of feathers. He had a lot of issues.

Very good stuff. Recommend the podcast for a good listen. Costas and Sandberg were outstanding.

If that was off the top of the head for either of them, that is flat out amazing, considering it was 35 years ago. Both spoke as if it happened last week.

Sandberg was on the pregame today on ABC 7, was not as relaxed and didn't come across as well rehearsed. Some guy (probably NOT SomeGuy) had "his" ticket stub from the game and got it autographed by Ryno.
