The Chiefs always had a shit ton of talent on defense in their 3-4 but always underachieved because Reid wouldn't fire Sutton. Now he is trying to rebuild to a 4-3 with Spags like he had in Philly but that is going to take 2-3 years to fully swap out. By the time the defense is functional, Mahomes will be due to be paid as the highest QB in the NFL.
