Brie Larson really coming across as a humorless bitch on the press tour for this movie.

I’m starting to believe the rumors MANY of her co stars are not happy with her being vaulted to the front of the MCU going forward.

This clip is very cringey.

A woman with something she feels she needs to prove. Very entertaining.

did JDC intercept EW's twitter?

brie gets away with this shit because she's hot. the very thing that got her into the business. the irony is completely lost on her.

I got the impression they were joking around. Would they legitimately be getting snippy with each other over who has the strongest imaginary powers?

I took it as a double entendre from her end.

She isn't hot in the world of Hollywood.

The response to his Tom Cruise compliment is the major indicator for me.

As far as I can tell, out of everyone in the MCU,even the bitch known as Gweneth Paltrow. She is the only one who does not seem to be having fun playing the part. Everyone else jokes around and is light and she is so wooden.

I find her tone to be that of a strong female asserting herself. CSFMB calls her a bitch. Nothing but a bunch of misogynists. SAD!

Got a great review from IGN. I'll be avoiding this thread starting now until I see the movie when it's available ondemand.

Is there any chance whatsoever that Deadpool makes an appearance?

4 stars from Roeper:

I haven't read a bunch of spoilers, but one review I read today says that there is an 11th hour, unexpected character that comes to the rescue.

I'm hoping it's Jeff Goldblum. He was fucking hilarious in Thor:Ragnorok.

No post credits scene .
There is a push to have Deadpool take over the cameo spot from Stan though. Plus, everyone and anyone who was in a MCU movie is in this one, including Portman.

I've seen a bunch of these, more than half anyway. Thor:Ragnorok is the best one, top to bottom.

I guess we would need to see a list of the ones you saw before commenting on this.

Completely drop 4 and 9 and add Black Panther and can't think of another good one.

I've got a couple more ahead of BP as well.....GOTG2, Doctor Strange. Probably have BP at #13. Found it to be way overhyped, almost as if there were outside forces at work trying to convince me that it was a much better movie than it was.

Surprised you want Avengers out of the top 10. What didn't you like about it?

"Dr. Strange" would be my 2nd, and both of the "GOTG" were great, and the first "Avengers."

"Thor:Ragnorok" is going to be the "Spinal Tap" of the whole bunch. you can watch that movie 20 years from now and still be entertained by it.

I have Black Panther up there because along with Ragnorak it's the only Marvel movie with memorable visual design. The Korean indoor scene and the Wakanda waterfall scene are top notch. It's no masterpiece or anything, but I don't really find any of these movies remarkable. Doctor Strange really tried for the visual flair but for me it seemed to be trying too hard and didn't work.

The first Avengers suffers for the same reason a lot of these movies fall flat, there's no suspense in the Heroes vs Big Bad Guy with his generic cgi trash army. Whedon's quippy dialogue, which I have no problem with when it's done well by other directors, like in Ragnorak, is just dull here. I don't know if it was bad writing or every actor other than Downey Jr and Ruffalo being charisma black holes, but the Avengers Assembling part wasn't much fun.

I plan on seeing this Saturday afternoon, but I would advise anyone who wants a spoiler free movie experience to avoid this thread once the weekend begins, or even tonight.

Saw it at 7:30 tonight.

No spoilers, it was good not great.

I actually think Infinity War was better.

Going again Sunday to take my daughter.
