Poking him in the eye is taking cheating too far.

He got what he deserved.

Only time I felt bad was when I shot faked and he turned completely around, then I drove to his blind side for a layup. Other than that, it was above board.

Is having my youngest invited down for the Illini spring game anything to brag about? He got his 40 time down to 4.6(@ 245lbs) and can bench 400lbs. And now they want him to come get a ton of swag.

Definitely means something of he was invited. Enjoy.

Stepson pitched 5 innings today, only 1 run was given up on an error (well, multiple errors) -- had 8 Ks, 0 BBs, and 1 hit (50/50 if it was a hit or error, but I would lean towards hit.) Pretty good, although the weather felt like February with that wind!

Position coach seemed to be nicely interested, and I have a former teammate on staff that could probably use him in a creative way. Plus his gf goes there. So he had a ball. And I have to love it.

It's almost as weird as when my oldest was playing with the Cubbie amateur teams.

In 10 years, it'll be an error. No walks is impressive this early though.

Congrats.

That's pretty impressive. How tall a kid is he? What position does he (want to) play?

Was he wearing an eye patch? Or was there just a gaping hole where his eye used to be?

He poked him in the good eye. That's when the game slowed to a crawl. Finally, Leash just TOLD the dude he made the game winner.

I’m taking little rsg to his first Cardinals game tomorrow. Though, I may leave immediately if they decide to pitch to Yelich.

Was about to replace my grill because the paint above the food was chipping and I didn't want to eat it on my hamburgers. Decided to google how much a replacement hood would be. It turns out it is a common problem with these kinds of grills but the problem is that it is just carbon buildup and it isn't paint.

So, I haven't been eating paint chips.

I could have told you that if you posted the problem long ago.

I was like "Who was the moron at Weber that painted the top of a grill?". Turns out the moron was me.

Good thing I didn't call them up and yell.

He painted it by spilling the bucket of paint all over the inside.

What a year Yelich is having. And the Brewers are as good a line-up as exists anywhere. Looks like the NL currently has the best young hitters in baseball with Cody Bellinger also ripping the cover off of the ball. Two outstanding young hitters who also are good all around ball players.

Debating whether to go back and get my SPED endorsement now  . Though that would just be four additional classes and I'll pay as I go.
