At least we got Tessa Thompson given more unearned screen time in movies.

don't be afraid of truth. There was a lot to like in the movie but there were parts worthy of criticism. I'm glad they openly mocked Brie Larsen for her haircut.

Yeah, I’m very skeptical of her being the face of the franchise going forward.

I liked it. Wasn't as good as Infinity War. I have several issues with the movie, but don't want to throw out any spoilers at this point.

She was not particularly likeable in this movie, I didn't think.

If you've got a problem with Tessa Thompson, you've got a problem with yourself, buddy.

Stay strong!

While I have you here, the Stark memorial scene: they did the montage of each group of heroes and then they had some random young man standing alone who I do not recall from anything. Who was that?

From Iron Man 3. The kid who helped Stark get his shit together in that small town.

I was asking myself that same question in the theater, but wait... Just now I’m thinking it’s the kid that helped Stark during IM3.

I’m pretty confident with that statement.

I went back to the dinner scene in the first Avengers movie when Thor challenged each of the Avengers to see if they could lift his hammer. Let's just say one moment in that scene is very interesting when we see what happened in Endgame.

But in Ragnarok, the hammer does not make Thor the God of Thunder, yet apparently wielding the hammer allows one to harness lightning.

I haven't watched anything regarding Ant Man. I know nothing about who he is other than what is shown in Avengers. My boys told me he is a quantum physicist.

I hate that they portray Stark as this omniscient being in the field of sciences. Anything science, not only does Tony know but he knows even more than the people who specialize. So Ant Man figures out the answer, Tony says know but his computer says yes, and then everyone acts like Tony figured it out

Ant-man is a burglar. The Wasp's daddy is the genius.

I like that the movie acknowledged that the world wasn't all that bad post Thanos Rapture. Some were better off in life than pre Thanos. There were distinct benefits.

Sure, some new problems arose due to the vacuum of power. People were left grieving. However, we see that it was not a dystopia and that the world was starting to form a new order out of the chaos. Give that world a little more time and it would flourish (especially if the half that were taken was not purely random).

I do think this plays a role in the entire posture of the movie. The Avengers go after Thanos for much more self interested reasons than most of their previous jobs. I never got the feeling like their primary incentive is to restore humanity. I felt they wanted to bring THEIR loved ones back. I felt that they wanted to restore social order to the world that affected THEM.

All that aside, I liked the movie quite a bit. It was a satisfying end to Avengers.

I don't need Avengers...The Next Generation.

That blue woman moves in a very sexy way. There is just something about the hips where its like she dances across the screen. I'm not afraid to say I'm into the blue.

She was a companion to the Doctor.

The only appropriate time to cry at a movie is if a dog dies at the end.

MANY men cried during this movie.

I was moved, but no tears.

About halfway thru the movie I suddenly remembered how much it was snowing outside and I shed one small tear of joy at the thought of how many people felt inconvenienced by a snowstorm that would have no remnants left about 24 hours later.

Prolly cus you popped your cherry with a cam version, and not the theater experience my friend.

Who knows tho? Maybe after I watch it again I’ll like it less as well.

(I’m also monitoring pirated versions until the quality improves for me to watch again.)

I skimmed it, I didn't watch it (I spent maybe 20-some minutes, most of which was watching the opening ... I stumbled upon the Soulstone scene by chance ... only saw the sweeping shot of the end battle that shows the size and scope of it all ... that's pretty much it).

I like it a more today because I realized I was mistaken about something in the story.

What were you mistaken by?

Seems like a lot of Comic Book Guy types are pissed that Thor turns into late-era Jim Morrison in the movie.

They shouldn’t be.

It was one of the best parts of the movie.

Hemsworth has said he did not enjoy super serious Thor from his first two standalone movies.

It’s going to be comedic Thor from here on out.
