Suffered a major stroke last week and it looks like he succumbed to it this morning. Terrible loss to the film industry. Great filmmaker. Besides making one of the most important films of all time with “Boyz N the Hood”, he made some other great films as well like “Poetic Justice” and “Rosewood”.

Dead at age 51. RIP.

312, I took my old lady to Ingotz for her birthday this past week. We loved it. Owner Roger is a really nice guy. I think he has some relationship with the Hawks.

He had a role as producer and directed a number of episodes in the series “Snowfall” on FX which is very underrated in my opinion. Boyz in the Hood still stands up as a very good movie to this day.
