There is going to be more Thor?

There really is no more story to tell. They beat the best. Maybe I'm alone in this but I am happy to look at this as an ending to marvel movies .

This is why they stopped making comics 30 years ago. No more stories to tell.

Thor’s catalogue of stories is as good and deep as any marvel character.

Also, the end of this movie is leaning towards a GOTG/Thor movie next, and I’m sure that would make a lot of money.

I’m pretty sure Thor will continue on in the MCU as long as Hemsworth wants to do it.

After so many years and movies I would think Helmsworth and most of the others are about done with the same shit.

Chris Evans was done with it. Apparently RDJ and Scarlett wanted out as well.

Having watched interviews on the press tour for Thor Ragnarok I genuinely think Australian Hemsworth enjoys working with New Zealand director Waititi. From everything I had read and seen before Hemsworth did Raganarok he was sick of/bored/frustrated with the Thor character. The infusion of Waititi’s style of comedy rejuvenated Hemsworth’s motivation to continue on in the MCU.

I’m looking forward to it. Ragnarok is easily one of the best MCU movies.

I read similar and that is why the "changes" to Thor this movie came about.

I actually think without the added fat Thor humor Endgame would have been too serious, and felt like way more of a chore to sit through.

They explained the Capt ending. It makes a lot of sense now. Even though the Ancient one explainded a lot when she had her conversation with Banner.

Easy way to explain it is Dr Who type String theory. There are moments in time that are not to be messed with like Pompeii . The Snap was one, by them doing so they kind of splintered to continuum allowing Capt to do what he did.It also allowed Thanos and Company to do their thing.
Plus,Howard the Duck was at the Final Battle. But not the Defenders or AGEnts of Shield.
Screenrant had a good listing of all the throwbacks and crossovers from the other movies/characters.

do they really expect people to continue following any of these characters into the next phases they have planned? the thing about these 22 movies or whatever it is, was it made these characters and comic stories available to the fringe that didn't buy the comics. but, I have a hard time believing that same demo is going to care about Avengers B, C, & D squad mates for another 10 years.

those are niche audiences, not $100 million opening weekend audiences

The big question is.... will this world wide audience follow them to Disney+ for $9.99 a month for Falcon & Bucky and the rest. The Marvel online comic presence is already a fairly deep and wide range of comics. DC countered even though their service is more than just comics, with a dump of close to 20,000 more titles this week.

Certainly not. That is a hardcore fan thing. Unless they do, like "Thor Saves Christmas" or something. I might be in for that.

Honestly, I'd watch that. It would be even better as a tv show, like the Star Wars Christmas Special

Prolly cus you popped your cherry with a cam version, and not the theater experience my friend.

Who knows tho? Maybe after I watch it again I’ll like it less as well.

(I’m also monitoring pirated versions until the quality improves for me to watch again.)

I skimmed it, I didn't watch it (I spent maybe 20-some minutes, most of which was watching the opening ... I stumbled upon the Soulstone scene by chance ... only saw the sweeping shot of the end battle that shows the size and scope of it all ... that's pretty much it).

I like it a more today because I realized I was mistaken about something in the story.

What were you mistaken by?

Mismanaged expectations and assumptions as to the status and location of the snapped ... I didn't think they were just properly gone, I thought they were somewhere odd and we'd see that group working on their end to get themselves back to where they belonged. Thus, when the band got back together out of nowhere, I was confused and displeased that they just showed up w/out seeing or hearing from them previously.

The Disney+ catalogue is going to be quite large.

Over 500 Disney films and over 7,000 Disney related shows.

So will Disney exclude all of their content from Netflix once they start their own streaming service? It would seem fair, considering Netflix doesn't share/license any of their original shows to other services such as Amazon Prime.

Yes all the Disney stuff will be gone by November I believe.

I saw it this afternoon and enjoyed it quite a bit. I avoided all discussion about the movie because I wanted to go in fresh. I was surprised at the first 2/3rds of the movie as I did not expect it to start/go that way.

It was fitting that Iron Man was the one to get the gauntlet and snap his fingers since it was his movie that kicked off the Marvel series.

I loved what they did with Cap. It was great to know he got to live the life he clearly felt he missed with the woman he loved. I don't know why he came back on the park bench instead of though the portal. Doesn't him living his live life instead of being frozen for 70 years affect any number of other things? Regardless, it is a superhero movie so I suppose it doesn't really matter if everything doesn't make sense. It was also pretty damn cool to see him pick up and use Mjolnir (the scene Jaw Breaker mentioned from Age of Ultron was great, and hearing Thor say "I knew it!" when Cap actually did wield the hammer was great, too.)

I thought Captain Marvel would have played a larger role, but I suppose she did rescue Tony and Nebula and destroy Thanos' ship. After Thanos punched her in the kisser with the Power (?) Stone I think that was the last time we saw her until Stark's funeral.

When Thor had his shirt off he looked like Fat Bastard.

I do not believe there is any part of Elizabeth Olson I do not want on my face.
