Still, I'd like to try, with your permission. I'll send a letter a week. They can't ignore me forever.

They sure can, but you write your letters if it makes you happy. I'll even mail 'em for you, how's that sound?

What the hell is really wrong with you? Why do you consistently make asinine statements? Why can't you try to bring an opinion forward without a juvenile shot attached?

Tonight's game banged. Straight doubleheader tomorrow, if the weather allows;
Quote:
CHICAGO – Tuesday night’s game between the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up Wednesday, May 1, as part of a straight doubleheader beginning at 3:10 p.m. CT. The originally scheduled contest will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the opener.

Fans with game tickets, parking coupons and Huntington Bank Stadium Club passes to Wednesday night’s originally scheduled game can attend both games with their ticket and parking pass. Gates will open at 2:10 p.m. and parking lots at 1:10 p.m.

Game tickets, parking coupons and Huntington Bank Stadium Club passes for Tuesday’s postponed game cannot be used for tomorrow’s doubleheader unless they are exchanged at the box office prior to entry. If they choose, fans may apply the value of those tickets, parking coupons and Huntington Bank Stadium Club passes to any future regular season White Sox home game subject to availability.

What a great addition McCann has been with the White Sox thus far. Arguably he is right up there with Anderson as the Sox MVP so far this year. He is so much better defensively than Castillo and he battles at the plate and hits the ball hard most of the time where it is pitched. His addition really shored up the line-up this season.

It was a good signing. I said so at the time. However, Narvaez should have been kept, and Castillo launched. Narvaez is killing it in Seattle. It would have been the best combo of catchers in MLB

I know that you feel that way but he brought a much needed and good reliever back in that trade. And both he and Castillo are very bad defensive catchers. Narvaez cuts down only about one in four base runners and is high in errors and passed balls. He also doesn't frame pitches well.

What Narvaez is a good left handed hitting bat in the line-up probably best suited for DHing and spot catching. The Sox probably thought that Palka was going to kind of be that guy in the line-up as a DH/1B but it didn't work out.

Relievers are a dime a dozen. Narvaez is much more valuable. And I mean MUCH. I'll say it until I'm sick of saying it. Hahn didn't know what he had. A good hitting lefty who's position is catcher.

We will just have to disagree, then. He is a terrible catcher and they have a young guy in 3A who hits left handed who probably will be called up in June. As for relievers being a dime a dozen, not when you are talking about closers, The Sox guy is doing a good job and has a good track record in the majors.

Speaking of catchers...….I had to laugh my ass off at the assault leveled at Severino, the O's catcher by their pitching staff in the last game. The number of times the O's bounced the ball and hit his nards were hilarious. I would have loved to have heard the audio coming out of his mouth as pitch after pitch bounced up and caught him in his privates.

OF course, since he is Hispanic, it would have required a translator but I would say that if he had a knife in his pocket he might have wanted to carve up their pitcher at the time. :bom: :bom: :bom:

I think that he was the catcher also when they were in Baltimore and the same thing happened. Maybe he should order a suit of armor from the Game of Thrones show. They aren't be going to need them much longer, right? I would bet that Severino spent a LOT OF TIME in the hot tub soaking his jewels after that game.

So Delmonico has a popup fall twenty feet behind him in LF, then on a suicide squeeze he pulls the bat back. Granted the pitch was in the dirt but still, on a squeeze you have to make the attempt to bunt the ball! Thats a fucking brutal inning, Nicky.

This is why you were in the minors until there was an injury.

The Orioles radio announcers are really opinionated. Ragging on the Orioles loafing, errors, guys at new positions. Also bitching about the umpires, official scorer, scoreboard guy. Funny stuff.

Rodon gets spotted a 4-0 lead, and can't get out of the fourth inning in game 1 of the doubleheader. That is awful.

Something's wrong with Rodon. He can't finish anybody. Time to ask about the shoulder and if it's going rotten again. Somebody should take a whiff or something.

Nah they'll get their ass kicked by the Red Sox.

I'll be at the Friday and Sunday games. Work tickets.
