you can watch the 1st episode for free, which i've done. you have to subscribe for the rest. i may have a resource to be able to get the rest of the episodes so i don't have to subscribe. last year you could sign up for a free trial.

so far i've really liked what i've seen. this is a really good series.

i'm through 4 episodes and still love it. a lot of it is predictable but i really like how they add layers to these characters and complicate situations. this is good writing.

I'd mark out hard for Mr. Miyagi. If they can get Grand Moff Tarkin back in Star Wars they sure as hell can get Miyagi-San back in the Karate Kid.

finished 2nd season last night. the big fight scene at the high school was a little much, way over the top. but the climactic "battle" suited it in the end, and led to a pretty shocking conclusion.

this season was a bit more contrived than the 1st. it's like they really wanted to go full throttle. the callbacks are still my favorite thing about this. loved seeing johnny's old gang back together for one poignant sequence. a lot more touching than i thought it would be.

youtube will be making the show free this fall, with ads. i'd recommend it highly for anyone who doesn't want to pay for the service now. it's worth waiting for.
