This is all fine and well, but also, it's like what else are they supposed to say? "Oh man if you think episode 3 was something you should wait until episode 5. Tell you what: if you have any weekend plans or things you have to do then you better do them during episode 4 because that's just a fucking snooze fest. Just make sure you're back in time for episode 5"

Just more speculation, but it's interesting that they will not confirm that the White Walker story arc is over.

I don't see the connection between my cynicism of PR by GoT actors and the actual show.

JBills and Rick with the 2004 Love it or Leave it approach in this thread has been entertaining.

Your comment references the actual show.

Your harshing my buzz for the upcoming Clegane bowl.

The general theme seems to be for some that the show has been bad for a long time. If this was a problem for a few seasons I doubt it goes away the last three episodes.

I'll admit to not being a fan of these one off spectacles between fan favorites. That Lynna Mormon scene was only a few minutes but it was maybe the dumbest few minutes in the show's entire history. That's what gets me - bullshit fan service scenes that replace actual story lines. But whatever. Everyone is different and I'll respect your POV even though I strongly disagree

Bro, they gotta wrap shit up.

It prolly would have taken 5 more 10 episode seasons at the pace they were moving around 2015.

These actors earning potential is being damaged the longer they stay tied down to this show.

I respect your opinion tho.

If Bronn kills Tyrion that would be going back to the original seasons of unexpected deaths that piss off fans and I would enjoy it.

Question1: What if Jamie kills Bronn?
Question1a: What if Brienne kills Bronn before Bronn can kill Jamie?
Question1b: What if Bronn kills Tyrion and Jamie, so Brienne squares off against Bronn and is beheaded. Her trusty shoe scrubber turned knight wanna be swoops in and kills Bronn.

Bron is not going to turn on Jamie and the Imp. Remember....whatever you are offered, I will double it. Bron is going to end up getting that huge Lannister castle(Forget its name) and a hot wife.(maybe one of the Sand Snakes?)

Cersei will commit suicide when all is lost..

The Mountain will be killed by Arya's mentor from the Many Faced God probably disguised as that swordsman from Dorne. Either that or Arya will kill the Mountain who will kill the Hound.

Cersie will be double crossed by the Iron Bank when they find out that Jon Snow is really a Targaryan and heir to the seven Kingdoms.

Theon's sister will kill her Uncle and get their revenge.

Jon will abdicate his throne and Sansa and the Imp will be installed as the placeholders or wardens until Arya's son by King Robert's son is born and ends up ruling the world. Jon and Dany will fly off to a quiet corner of the world with their dragons.

Jamie will marry Breinne and will be married By the Fat Eunuch.

I have a hard time seeing Tyrion and/or Sam die. As the more cerebral characters they're relied on for exposition and for connecting the narrative. If they died the IQ of the remaining men would be quite low.

That's the point, dumb ass. The IQ of most men is low. The future is female. The future of the Seven Kingdoms is female too, assbag. That macho bullshit doesn't fly even in Westeros. Do I have to knock your fucking teeth out to show you what bullshit that aggressive crap is?

If they kill Sam you know that is a straight-up F-U to George RR from Benioff and Weiss.

If Sam didn't die this last episode, I'm not counting on it ever happening. And I say that as someone with a much more positive opinion about that episode than the majority.

I'd say people that definitely will not die -

Tyrion
Sam
Bran (will be alive in some form)
Missandei
Sansa
Arya
Podrick
Asha/Yara - whatever her name is
Oberyn's lady that used to be on Human Target watching her kid rot

I just found out there is no Night King in the books and yet people are mad Jon Snow didn't kill him? It is pretty obvious his story arc is bigger than the Night King.

He hasn't been introduced yet but he's there. The Others have been seen.

His arc is bigger than the Night's King.

Yeah it’s almost like this point was already addressed.

Everyone who has read the books know there was no night king.

The show built up that subplot.

Where was the point addressed? The Night King not being in the books makes a big difference. One of the big complaints is that Snow didn't personally kill the Night King even though his plan ultimately worked to stop the white walkers.

Didn't somebody post a link to Martin's original pitch to the publisher before he wrote the books where he said his story revolved around five main characters who are present for the entire series: Arya, Dany, Jon, Tyrion, and Bran?

Fucking LOL if that first part happens. That sounds like something that would be played over the end credits of Animal House: the Westeros Class.

because i just said that the bigger arc is about his actual identity, not about the night king. and his history with the white walkers is pretty thorough in both the books and the show.

the reason people were expecting snow to kill the night king was because of the history he has with that white walker storyline. while there wasn't a night king in the book there is still the subplot of all of that. we don't know if he was going to be introduced.

Jon Snow has always been about him being the one who saw the threat and stopping it. It wasn't some personal battle between him and the Night King. They have done 5/7 books without introducing the NK. It is ok that Jon Snow didn't get the killing blow on him.

Also, it is kind of funny that you are complaining we didn't get the most obvious conclusion.
