I had a great story where payless saved my ass when I had a regular job back in the early 90s.

One guy called in sick and I had to meet some fancy clients. Boss called me and said you need to wear your best suit and tie.

Got everything setup but realized I didnt have dress shoes. So went to payless and got some cheap dress shoes for $20.

The shoes looked great and even the client asked what kind of shoe that was. They brought up some Italian designer names i never heard of. I just nodded like yeah, that's the one!

Seems like all the stores for regular guys are going out of biz. Isn't Sears gone too now? Where are we suppose to buy our clothes and shoes now? I can't try on shit on Amazon.
