Rolling Rock

Is it really even Rolling Rock anymore?

It's the same. Just owned by Budweiser now.

It’s really not the same...the taste changed when they quit brewing it in Latrobe.

Correct. Hasn't been real Rolling Rock in a decade or more. It's even boxed in the thin/flimsy gauge cardboard now.

donspiracy needs to check his sources

Channel and when, don? I have to be at mass at 10am tomorrow.

It was on ESPN at 12:30AM.

Yes, F1 is on the mothership now. They got rid of Hobbs and the other bloke from NBCSN.

Now it is just a feed of Sky Sports from England. It's rubbish.

This is an outrage!!!

So, these opposing forces, took the email from my public filings and signed me up to a bunch of Tea Party mailing lists because I'm apparently a tax-happy liberal.

Celebrating a so far successful 3 month commitment to excellence. 5 Dogfish 90 minute IPAs in the gullet, and it's only 6:30. Could be problematic.

Nice! Out of beer, Onto fire, as that's all I have left. Still problematic.

Out of beer at this point is poor planning! I don't have MANY left, but enough to go for a while. And some rye whiskey...

Problematic, yes...but in a good way!

Having an Enter Night from Stone Brewery. Been dealing with some depression lately, just been a shitty winter between the weather and work. Looking forward to the summer heat.

Went on a wine walk in Barrington today. Gave up on wine and started drinking beers wherever we stopped. Flesk Brewing honored the wine sampler glasses with beer samples. They were the heroes I needed today.

Feverish first child is one of the worst feelings as a young parent. And then being on edge until they're 6 or 7 years old. Good luck and better health my friend.

My second had awful croup every time he got sick. First time was an ER trip in an ambulance as my wife panicked but still it was a helpless feeling. I still remember a trip to a Walmart at 2 am to get a humidifier to help the third one when he started getting croup. Got back and he was feeling fine watching a fess parker davey crocket show wearing a diaper and Coon skin hat his grandma got his brother, a pair of my sunglasses and holding a wooden rubber band gun (same grandma gift). It was a sight.

I had croup when I was about 2 or so. My parents went to a wedding, and my grandfather and 13 year old uncle were babysitting. My mom said she walked into the steamy bathroom at about 2 in the morning with me screaming her father in law in his boxers smoking on the edge of the tub my uncle sitting on the toilet (lid down) and my dad being about 3 sheets to the wind. So...at least you weren't her.

I worry at every age. Whoever said paraphrasing "having a child is like to forever have your heart go walking around outside your body" is right.

Kids get sick. He'll be fine.

Indeed. Slight fever but he looks and seems better this moring. It was more just frustration last night because I could tell he was so miserable and so tired, but he just kept fighting it and didn't want to go to sleep.

and then I was so tired I think I had two drinks and went to bed.

Brings back many memories of nights in a sealed bathroom with a hot shower going to help the babies breathe.
