Hell of an actor.

This should be good if he can add the pounds to his skinny frame.

I thought it was going to be the Stringer Bell actor from the Wire.

They've been hyping him up for like 5 years to take the role.

Scott Eastwood would have been a good choice.

I didn't really feel I needed a new Batman movie.

I wanted one but only if it tied in with the Gotham TV show.

Just when you think Zack Snyder's Ben Affleck decision was horrible, Matt Reeves comes along and says "hold my beer"....

Just so you guys know.

The last twilight movie was 7 years ago.

Robert Pattinson has been acting in MANY movies since then. Albeit not blockbusters.

He’s also signed on for the next Christopher Nolan film.

I didn't think Affleck was bad. Definitely better than George Clooney and Val Kilmer.

The artificially gravelly voice has been annoying.

Batfleck wasn’t the problem in any of the DC movies he was in. It’s a weird role, nobody thought Keaton would be any good when his Batman came out and some still consider his the best portrayal and yet Kilmer and Clooney were completely forgettable.

Agreed. Maybe it was because I had heard how bad the movies were before I saw them I had low expectations, but I thought they were fine.

Batman Vs Superman wasn't bad as long as you see the extended cut.

I liked Justice League.

I still think Keaton is the best of all of them. Even Bale.If you took Clooneys Wayne with Kilmers Batman that would be good. The reason Bale and Keaton got the role right is they get that the character is basically a split personality.
There is an old trope that asks, what is the difference between Superman/Clark Kent and the rest of the superhero world and their secret identities? Superman is the real one and Clark is the fake whereas the opposite is true for the rest. With Batman I see it as more of a struggle between the two for dominance. They are two co-equal beings. Sort of like how Ted Bundy describes his killer side.

I've never seen the Twilight movies, but watch Pattinson in "Good Time".
He's a really good actor.
