6 innings and 3 runs. Not terrible. Too bad he walked 2 batters in the 6th, as, both of those runners wound up scoring. Jake's performance has been kinda like a Lester start. He gets in trouble, but manages to escape from it.

Just what you expect out of your $126 million pitcher.

Pitching lines are stupid. He blew the lead and got worse every inning after the 3rd. Bum.

First off, I didn't want him, so he's not MY 126 million dollar pitcher. But given the Cubs signed him, I have to hope he gets straighten out and 3 runs in 6 innings is an improvement over what he has given the team in most of his starts.

Why can't ESPN have Girardi & Costas doing their games?

If you two ladies could go find a dark corner in another thread to have your slapfight in, that'd be great.

Very true. Lots of opportunities. Some with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs.

Fuck yes. McCutchen has given us so many runs with his horrible defense the last 5 years.

If they go on yo win this game, it's kinda like finding a hundred dollar bill in a jacket pocket when you put it on.

Brad Brach closing with a one-run lead gives me the howling fantods.

If he wants an elevated fastball there, it should be letter high, not belt high. Bad mistake.

God, just one long night of the Phillies wriggling off the hook one way or another.

Hey, isn't that the dipshit that punched a drink cooler in the dugout years ago?

none of those really had anything to do with the game being lost.
