My guess is that it was Varys in a letter.

Without reading the books, from what I understand, Bran has in effect been infected by the three eyed raven, who is a Targaryen from a long time ago. Bran even tells everyone that he isn't really the same person any more though some part of Bran still exists in him. He then aids in and lets all of these things happen knowing that all the death and betrayal gets him to be the king. He let's Kings Landing be destroyed. He lets the whole Night King storyline play out. He lets Jon Snow be exiled though Jon Snow seemed fine with it too. The fact that he was so blunt and honest that he knew everything that happened would eventually give him the ultimate power in the 6 kingdoms is pretty scary given what he could do in the future. I could almost see him going out and looking for Drogon as yet another attempt at him to build his power since we know he can warg into things.

Now, obviously this is way too much guessing to give credit to the writers for this but it actually is pretty interesting. If the books are ever finished, I wouldn't be shocked if they have the same ending with it being clear that Bran is the true bad guy.

YOu make some good points. I have never figured out Bran and what his real "powers" are. I read all of the books but that was 8 years ago and don't remember much about Bran in them. Truthfully, I didn't like the ending with him being the king of all except the North and this kind of split personality that he has between being the 3 Eyed Raven and also a Stark is, to me, some weak assed shit. I would hope that in the prequel, that they define what the fuck the Three Eyed Raven is all about as well as the entire Lord of Light and the Many Faced King stuff. The entire background of religion has not been defined worth a shit and yet there are millions of people who are influenced by these beliefs.

I've said before that I think the show has been pretty bad for a while, but one particular common take I'm not crazy about at all is the suggestion that it's primarily because D&D ran out of source material. The books have been bad for a while too, albeit in a way distinct from the show's problems, and the show had gone downhill before it passed the books. This notion I see from some of the loudest ragers online that St.George, the greatest literary talent the world has ever seen, will surely fix this in the books (if they ever get done) is fanciful at best.

The Mountain will be killed by Arya's mentor from the Many Faced God probably disguised as that swordsman from Dorne. Either that or Arya will kill the Mountain who will kill the Hound.

Cersie will be double crossed by the Iron Bank when they find out that Jon Snow is really a Targaryan and heir to the seven Kingdoms.

Theon's sister will kill her Uncle and get their revenge.

Jon will abdicate his throne and Sansa and the Imp will be installed as the placeholders or wardens until Arya's son by King Robert's son is born and ends up ruling the world. Jon and Dany will fly off to a quiet corner of the world with their dragons.

Jamie will marry Breinne and will be married By the Fat Eunuch.

Fucking LOL if that first part happens. That sounds like something that would be played over the end credits of Animal House: the Westeros Class.

Wow. Literally nothing close to any of that happened.

Less Than Perfect is an American sitcom created by Terri Minsky and starring Sara Rue and Sherri Shepherd which originally aired on ABC from October 1, 2002 to June 6, 2006. It follows Claude (Rue), who works at a television network named GNB, as well as her friends and colleagues.

BITE.

I predict if the GoT prequels are successful that we get to see a sequel of GoT that references the reign of Bran without having any of the original actors so probably set 50-1,000 years later depending on Bran building his tree where the Iron Throne was.

I could easily see them making a sequel or a movie with some of the actors down the road. It would make a ton of money.

They tie Westworld into Game of Thrones. Season 3 of WW ends with Delores being brought to the President of the World and it's Bran.

No, he sees visions of the future without context (like the dragon over kings landing) but he can't see and know the future. Only present and past.

The entire thing. The characters develop from season 1 through season 3 in ways that feel true. Kevin is a skeptic through most of the series, even when he tries to believe there are things going on he can't explain. Throw in a bit of weird stuff and you have a great show.

As the series went on it became clear he had far more ability to see in the future than we thought originally. His visions of the future are sometimes incomplete but the future can be changed. It is still clear that he knew that he would be king, he knew about ash/snow all over Kings Landing but snow was no longer an issue after the NK. He knew the NK would not kill him which is why he just sat there. If he was to be king, Dany would have to disappear and he actively did things that helped to create the division between Jon Snow and Dany.

Remember, he's not quite a seasoned Three-Eyed Raven. His training had to be truncated because dumbfuck Bran got himself touched by the Night King.

Yeah, all of that. Plus it had literary pretensions that aren't so common on television. That appealed to the English student in me.

There are a lot of different ways one could look at what actually occurred. I think that the Sudden Departure caused Kevin to come unglued. He was losing his mind and deep down he knew it.

It's my favorite show ever. There's nothing else even in the conversation.

Going back and watching some of the old episodes actually makes the final season a bit less wonky. There are some dots that end up connecting - maybe not by a straight line, but still, there are flashes of what’s to come.
