In concept wouldn't that level of activity alert the rest of human society to the threat, and cause them to reverse course on letting the machines rise in the first place?

The third Terminator seemed to suggest that it was unavoidable destiny because even after killing the chief engineer and destroying the company responsible for SkyNet the doomsday still happened.

just like "alien", the first 2 were the best. but i have enjoyed the rest as some kind of z-grade entertainment, same as the "alien" franchise. although "covenant" sucked the root.

Ok so i watched it. Was excited to watch it.

So it went like this. Opening was meh, they hand off the sarah conner role to a young mexican chic which was fine, whatever. Then they tell you the plot while they are driving. In concise, plain way, just like this, they say "skynet never happened but the humans built a different kind of skynet called Legion. Its basically the same thing but a different name. oh and the world did end but it didnt really end"

thats it. just like that. i was like "what the fuck?" and thought there must be some reason to say that.

Well, an hour later... there wasn't. that was it. literally no fucking reason to abandon the skynet story but they did it anyway. and they replaced it with the exact same story.

the whole thing was really fucking stupid. the CGI wasnt anything amazing but at least it wasnt terrible. but way too much of it and really the whole movie was fucking terrible.
