I'd say yes and no. Houston is #1 in RS. Good outing, hell yeah, statement game. Poor outing, oh well, go get the the next guys on the schedule.

I agree with that. The teams that he beat had pretty decent offenses and he still did well. Houston is the best team in baseball. IT should be a good game to watch. I thought that I'd never say this, but this team is pretty fun to watch because you can kind of see where it might end up down the road.

This is some scary shit that’s going on with the Twins. They’re about to catch the Astros for best team OPS in the majors. They lead the league in runs, HR, and RBI. Plenty of respectable offensive players, but no real stars. I just can’t believe how productive they’ve been.

They need to kick the tires on Kuechel soon. They are only a starter away from being competitive. They already have another starter doing well enough in Triple A to bring up for a look.

Another dinger for Jimenez. When this big donkey figures things out, he is going to be a monster. I worry about him, though when pitchers will tart throwing at him. That stance could make it hard to get out of the way of inside fastballs at his head.

Right now he is an adventure in the outfield but I love his attitude and smile when he does something right defensively. I think a season of winterball working mainly on his defense will result in a competent at least left fielder.
