I think the reaction to the first Magic interview was still worse just because of the ridiculous amount of credulity ESPN people gave to his excuses (especially the part where just because Zubac didn't contribute much in one series against Golden State it was therefore perfectly fine to trade him), but seeing these guys attack their own reporter's article or give it a "nothing to see here people" at best is still pretty bad.

Yeah, certain people at espn are completely compromised by Magic/Lebron.

Fortunately, other people at the company are pushing back against Magic. Albeit their voices aren’t the ones featured on Sportscenter. I’m glad LeBatard, Will Cain, and Jalen Rose are trying to speak to the ridiculousness of the Magic apologists.

Magic made a number of mistakes. First and foremost was the drafting of Lonzo Ball. Secondly was the trading of Russell for a guy that wasn't in the long term plans. Next was giving away Randle for nothing. Next was very naively thinking that Free Agents would seek to sign with the Lakers because well they are the Lakers and he is Magic. Another mistake was his tampering with the players from opposing teams. Anthony Davis debacle was also another error. The Zubac trade was stupid. Allowing Lebron to undermine Luke was a huge mistake also.

He wasn't fit to be GM. If he wasn't willing to commit fully to the job then he shouldn't have accepted it in the first place.
