Absolutely. That was a major league ass kicking. It is amazing how far the Twins have come this season. One of the best teams in all of baseball.

As far as pitching goes, they always seem to come up with starters who can start the year hot. They've always drafted pitchers who have managed to have at least a few solid seasons, and their trades for pitchers (starters and relievers) have generally worked out.

I went to a game in the 300 level about a week and a half ago. They scan my ticket at the door and then try to scan it at the 300 level. I don't get the redundancy for 13,000 fans a game...

The 300 level is special, but yeah most of these games should be general admission.

Giolito walks the lead-off guy. McCann throws him out. Then Giolito gets the next guy to hit into what would have been a double play ball. Pitching over mistakes, and keeping his cool when he gets guys on.

Hitting 97 on the fastball too.
