Never liked iTunes. Still a Winamp loyalist to this day.

I grew up with that. It really whips the llamas ass.

Is it even available anymore?

There was some talk of some other company bringing it back, but I haven't kept up with that. You can still download it, but I don't think it's really supported anymore, the autotag database has been down for years, but other than that it still works fine for me. On the other hand, Apple will probably go into everyone's computer to delete iTunes and replace it with a mediocre U2 album.

I haven't looked into this enough to know how much this is gonna fuck me. I've spent a lot of time using iTunes to convert my giant cd collection to Apple Lossless so I could stream it to my AV receiver from my laptop, so I'm gonna have to read more. Is it simply a matter of iTunes isn't going to continue to prompt you with useless updates? (I hope so) Are they going to stop selling albums thru iTunes? (I don't care) Or is Curious Hair correct in assuming that the entire iTunes application as we know it will cease to be because Tim Cook is going to manually delete it from my computer? (He better not)
