lots of talk about the Bulls going after Lonzo. I would guess the #7 pick would be involved if that's gonna happen although I don't see how that would benefit the Lakers unless the plan is to turn around and use #4 and #7 as part of a package for AD.

Either way, I'm sure everyone can imagine how psyched I'll be if the Bulls get him.

If the Lakers were to offer the #4, #7 plus 1-2 young players off the Lakers roster, that could be enticing if Davis is still pushing to leave. It may be the wrong year though to have 3 top 7 picks though.

Sounds like Rubio is going to be on the market. Any interest?

Would rather have Lonzo and see what he develops into. The only finished products I want to see on the team is a transcendent star (not gonna happen) or veterans who are around to teach younger players how to replace the veterans.

when they re-draft the 2019 NBA Draft in 2024, Jarrett Culver will be #1 overall.

That’s a nuclear hot take. Gotta disagree. I don’t think he will be in the top 5 by then.

Drafting based on need is always a horrible decision.

Paxson's always been extremely blatant about jumping on bandwagons, so I can't help but think the recent reports about the Bulls liking Sekou Doumbouya are driven in part by him being impressed with Siakam in the finals and deciding they need their own hardworking African.

It doesn't matter whom they draft. None of these guys will make them better.

They screwed up by not tanking past season and now they will be stuck drafting guys that are at best rotation players.

Physically looks incredible for his age. who knows? I'm not on the Cam Reddish bandwagon, but he apparently played all year with a hernia or something.

Of the guys that will be available at that spot Reddish is the one that most intrigues me. Like what I've read regarding his ability but I will wait for the summer league to actually be provided with an honest look at him

Well stated. We are cursed with a GM who's always trying to catch up rather than looking ahead.

I do think it's interesting though that two teams that are clearly even more poorly run than the Bulls are probably going to be the favorites to win it all next year because the weather is nice and the players on off days can try and work on movies and tv shows. Maybe the Bulls need to start going after players who want to become hot dog moguls or really like train crossings.

Yahoo just mocked Garland to the Bulls. I would be very happy with that.

I'd be incredibly happy with that.

It does help us a lot that the Pelicans and Cavs have the 4 and 5 picks and don't need a PG in theory. We need RJ Barrett to go 3 to the Knicks though. A lot of talk of the Knicks taking Garland at 3, which means White would still go at 6 and we wouldn't have a PG left for us and would get stuck with like DeAndre Hunter or Cam Reddish or some other garbage.

I'm a Never Reddisher. Saw some random scouting report where the guy was breaking down his ability to finish around the basket and he said it was among the worst he's ever measured.

I would love Garland. But I don't see any way that White is taken before Garland.

I can see Phoenix thinking White is a better fit with their current roster.

I hope so. I think Garland is going to be a much better pro than White.

I think so too but Booker and Garland would likely be just a brutal defensive backcourt. I can see a team talking themselves into White being a better fit with a guy like Booker. Lavine is the same type of player, except worse, but the Bulls are less committed to him than Phoenix is Booker.

I sort of agree, but this is what the "expert" theorizes...Reports have surfaced that the Suns prefer White here and have not invited Darius Garland to work out or seen him while he’s training in L.A. White is the best shooting point guard in the draft and can come in and help Devin Booker. Could easily be a smokescreen though.

There’s really not a doubt in my mind Garland is a better shooter than White. That’s an odd report.

Suns never brought Garland in for a workout. Maybe that’s because he won’t be there at #6 to take.
