I saw clips of the video on the news, the treatment was uncalled for. I am sure the owner of any business the size of Fair Oaks has employees who act in a similar nature in disregard to something, be it person, animal, the environment, machinery, etc, unbeknownst to the owner or management.

This guy was shown the evidence and has taken action and promises to do better in the future. Sounds more shoutout worthy to me.

That is a good point and I get that sentiment, but at the same time, if you can treat living things respectfully without a lot of extra effort, then why not do that. However, yes, there is much more to be done on the front of dealing with humans humanely... we feel worse though with animals because they have no voice. We perhaps don't realize the voiceless amongst the humans unfortunately. Could you imagine if we had camera feeds of the warehouses during the slave trade? There's a lot of shitty things that have been done on this earth, but not many of them have been photographed for posterity.
