Yup.

Another start or two like these last couple and he will start the All Star game for the AL.
Yup.

He has been amazing these last 8-10 starts.

He really is. What I really like about the kid is that he pitches tall and coming out of his hand that change-up really looks like a fastball. It is almost as if he pulls a string on it and really is hard to barrel a bat on it.

Giolito, McCann and Moncada have certainly been the highlights so far this season.

Me thinks McCann is going to be a future manager someday. Sharp kid he is.

I watched the first three innings today. Giolito combined with a decent PBP guy was bringing out the best of Stoney today. This won't be as bad as the John Smoltz for Doyle Alexander trade from years ago, but it's going to haunt the Nationals for a while.

You wouldn't know it by Benetti's PBP. If you hit the ball 471, don't you know the ball's hammered off the bat and not when it lands? I know it sounds petty, but it's irritating that he can't judge flyballs. Hawk in is later years did the opposite,"WAY BACK", and then find the fielder's glove 10 ft in front of the warning track.

Maybe Benetti ought to take a cue from the center fielder who doesn't move a muscle? He'll learn I guess?

Nice to see Moncada eating again.

Nice game pitched by Lopez. He struggled a bit early but settled down nicely in the 2nd half.

I think his double was even more interesting than his HR. He has all indications of having very good plate coverage and he was able to pull his arms inside and just flick the bat on that inside fastball and it was in the outfield in a half second. That is what is really amazing to me, how advanced he is as a young hitter. The guy is going to be an RBI machine for years.

Yeah. Don't try a silver tip either. :P :P :P . Seriously, though, the kid really looks like he is just enjoying life immensely and is fun to watch. Did you see him in the dugout when the camera caught him and he said "Hi Mom"? In the age of many players acting like idiots, this kid is really enjoyable to watch.

Who the fuck is this starting pitcher tonite?

Edit: Oh.

THe White Sox called up right-hander Odrisamer Despaigne from Triple-A Charlotte and released injured outfielder Nicky Delmonico on Monday.

The team also placed left-handed reliever Jace Fry on the 10-day injured list with left shoulder soreness.

What a great example of the limitation of the White Sox pitching resources. Are the Sox somehow obligated to play every Cuban imaginable in the world. Hey? Where's Fidel and how come he isn't out there now? This guy is throwing puss. Talk about giving a bleeping game away. This game reminds me of how I feel about Reiny and his fucked up management team and I don't like that feeling.

I would love to know what the fuck the White Sox game plan is for their minor league players and who to call up because I find them making very questionable decisions. Watching this guy throw a baseball is making me noxious.

Watching the Sox game tonight, makes me understand why Frasier wants to pound Eaton. What a fucking diva, this guy is. I didn't like him even before I knew what a jag-off he is but now I know what a diva he is, I really can't stand the prick.
