Is there any place the White Sox aren't extremely popular in?

From all the White Sox hats you see in California, to Illinois and Indiana, and now Arkansas!

They should also know that Bryant is not #8, nor do the Iowa Cubs have a yellow jersey!

But the list has Cubs on it, so I figured we are talking about your REAL team

Eaglo Jeff thinks they labeled the state of California wrong, and stoneroses86 is moving to Idaho.

The Mets didn't make the list.

...and they arent popular....plus now they are semi broke....so the list is pretty accurate....

However, I would just say that more people identify Bo Jackson as a football player, KC Royal and a Nike Ad guy before the Chicago White Sox....as cool as it was to see Bo, post new hip do some great things....but I dont want to take away from your little fantasy ...so go on.....Yay Bo!

Don't tell that to them. The state of Arkansas has spoken and they love White Sox player Bo Jackson!

bigfan wrong again! Its a Bo Jackson White Sox jersey on that list. Not a Royals, or Raiders, or Nike jersey.

I hate to disappoint you, but they don't even name the White Sox on his Wiki page.

"After a 1991 hip injury on the field ended his football career, Jackson focused on baseball, and expanded into other pursuits, including the completion of his Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Development at Auburn. In addition, Jackson appeared in small roles as an actor, in TV shows such as 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'[3] and Married... with Children,[4] and films such as The Chamber."

It is safe to say his popularity is from his KC Royals/LA Raiders days. But hey you still have Albert Belle.

Quote:
Belle was involved in several controversial incidents during his baseball career. In 1986, he went after a heckler in the stands who was shouting racist insults at him and was suspended from the College World Series. In 1991 he threw a baseball into the stands, where it struck a fan who had taunted him by yelling, "Keg party at my house, Joey," a reference both to Belle's prior nickname and alcohol problem rehabilitation.[citation needed] He was suspended in 1994 for using a corked bat, and gained further notoriety for sending teammate Jason Grimsley through the building's ceiling panel to break into the locked umpires' dressing room to retrieve his corked bat and substitute it with another teammate's bat, resulting in a seven-game suspension. The revelation of Belle's use of corked bats was given more emphasis when Cleveland teammate Omar Vizquel wrote in his autobiography that it would be naive to suggest otherwise and that "...all of Albert's bats were corked."[5] He was fined in 1996 for knocking down Brewers infielder Fernando Viña, who had blocked his way between bases. He also had unpleasant interactions with the public, once chasing down rowdy trick-or-treating vandals who were celebrating Halloween by throwing eggs at his home, hitting one of the vandals with his car.

Makes Melky Cabrera look like D.Jeter.

An aside, how in the world does Kobe Bryant outsell Farve and/or Rodgers in Wisconsin?

Don’t feel like looking it up but DeMarcus Cousins was wearing one too recently. Great athletes seem to respect the Sox a lot.

The White Sox uniform truly is a great looking uniform especially considering how bad the Cubs uni is. That little Bears is a terrible looking logo, the colors are sissy looking, and for cripes sake, it is the name in the first place, "Cubs". How bad is that name for cripes sake. Almost want to reach out and pat the little thing on the head, doesn't it?
