Threw my back out yesterday. Wife let me sleep in this morning because I was up all night (every time I moved, it woke me up). Kids came screaming into the room at 8 yelling about going to breakfast...or as I call it, my least favorite meal. Waiting for the wife to come out of the Jewels now, and hoping to go home and sit with a heating pad on my back for the next 12 hours until I pass out. Oh, and beer. A lot of beer.

Spent most of the day with my son finishing our Taj Mahal chicken coop build. Little guy busted his butt painting it for about three hours. One more finish coat and it’s ready for the hens. Got feed at the Feed Store in Summit yesterday.

Boat ride on Fathers a Day cancelled due to rough water on Lake Michigan. Rescheduled ride cancelled Tuesday due to fog. Plan is to go tonight so I hope it works out. We need something to do with my in laws and get out of the house. If this falls through we will take a refund. In laws leave tomorrow morning. It’s been a long week.
