Hopefully, but doubtful, her thesis proved her own hypothesis incorrect. She does not have a traditionally black name, she has a traditionally stupid name, reserved more often for hippies and dipshit actors to give to their children (see Moon Unit or Apple). She would have had a better chance to prove her theory if she decided she had a traditionally Native American name (see Running Bear or Two Dogs Fucking). Given that she received said degree from UWWW (U7?), they likely applauded her efforts and set her upon the liberal wahwah pedestal, as her doctoral competition there might have been "Are cheese curds really cheese?" and "GoPackGo"...
