Eloy and Quintana are now dead even for the year, considering their roles were perfectly reversed during the first several weeks of the season.

I think we can all expect Quintana to trend upward and Eloy to return to normal numbers.

I figure you'll be posting a lot more about Quintana and Eloy than Abreu and Rizzo this year.

Actually, Quintana is the one who has trended back to his normal numbers of at or near .500 because that's exactly the type of pitcher he is.

Eloy is only going to get better and continue to mash.

I am perfectly fine hitching my wagon to Eloy and Abreu. You can keep going with Q and Heyward as those guys have worked out so very well for you this season.

If Sox fans need ammunition to pick on Cub fans in the next 30 - 40 years, just bring up this trade. We're already waving the white flag.

I was thinking about that today. I believe next year is on a team option. If the Cubs want to part ways, I believe they can just decline that option and he would be a free agent. I think that would be the right thing to do. Screw his ability to take the ball every 5th day crap, he is lousy. Don't throw good money after bad. If Alzolay looks like a guy they want in the rotation and Chatwood still has next year left on his deal, let Quintana walk. Well, he does that already.........let him walk away. Never wanted him and don't need to be reminded every week of the sack of crap they got for 2 top prospects.
