She shouldn't, because it is not.

Opinions vary. The Wire is far more sophisticated. It doesn't have nonsense like a super-genius creating a Rube Goldberg machine gun in the trunk of a car to take out a nest of Nazis.

One scene in five years.
He also created chemical weapons, wired up a bomb on a wheelchair that was denoted by a person who could barely move, broke in and out of highly secured facilities, cooked the greatest meth the world has ever seen in the matter of a few weeks because, um, he was smart in college, blackmailed billionaire friends into funneling drug money to his family which clearly won't ever be found out, and did all of this without his brother-in-law discovering any of it until he accidentally left a book that was signed by a guy he killed in his bathroom that anyone from his family or guests could read.

 I loved Breaking Bad but a suspension of disbelief is needed that is not required for The Wire. To me, Breaking Bad played like a comic book. Sort of like what M. Night Shyamalan tried to do less successfully with the Unbreakable series. But hey, I love comic books.

That shootout scene with Omar and the gay dude, two broads? That was probably the cheesiest shootout scene I've ever seen.

Better call Saul is better than Breaking Bad. Let's face it. Walter White had a horseshoe up his ass for 5 years. When he planned ahead, it worked. When it was off the cuff, it worked. Even when it was impossible, it worked. Fucking 007 and Q wrapped up in one guy, he was.

The only reason Omar got in the shootout was because he lacked a van with a giant magnet in the back!

I'm probably not one to ask on this because I don't subscribe to Netflix or Amazon which seem to have top premium shows. The Leftovers is the greatest show in television history. I don't consider anything else even close. The Wire and The Sopranos are obviously great. I would put Mad Men in there too. And Oz was a very important show, really the one that got the whole "peak TV" thing started.

Breaking Bad was entertaining. I enjoyed it immensely. But it's not sophisticated in the same way as these other shows. It's like comparing Stephen King to Saul Bellow.

I am fine with The Wire being ahead of Breaking Bad. But I just still cannot see how anyone could have Better Call Saul ahead of Breaking Bad. Maybe I will change my mind as BCS moves along

My list would be

1. Breaking Bad
2. The Wire
3. Justified
4. The Sopranos

Yeah, it's hard to judge a prequel on its own merits. I think Rogue One is one of the best Star Wars movies, yet I also understand that without the other movies, it wouldn't stand up or make much sense.

Most of the fun of BCS next season is going to be the links to BB. Can't wait to see how they meet up with the BB timeline, or even go through it or after it.

The only top 5 the sopranos should be on is most over rated or worst ending. I've never seen rectify or mad men. The Shield is 10x better than the sopranos, so is the the leftovers, peaky blinders, Seinfeld, the office, justified, Fargo, eastbound n down, Homeland, all in the family, Chapelle show, South Park, Deadwood, curb your enthusiasm.

Your list is shit

To recap, you’ve never seen 2/5 shows on my list and think Eastbound n Down is a better show than the Sopranos.

Good talk my man

Justified is incredible. One of the best closing scenes ever, maybe the best.

Apparently, a breaking bad movie is in the works with both characters.
