He interviewed Alex Morgan today. She sounded likable. After the interview Patrick and his boyquarium were wondering why women's soccer isn't more popular with fans or sponsors on a national and global stage. One of his sidekicks said teams like the Spurs or Patriots might have won a lot of titles but they're kind of robotic whereas the USWNT is so exticing and so much fun to watch.

Funny that the English think the US is arrogant. Before last year men's World Cup semi-final all I heard was "it's coming home" and how little Croatia had no chance against mighty England, at least that is what you heard from the English media and pundits. Then England's bubble burst.

I would like to point out, that while she has scored some goals this WC, she is far from the best player on the team. The USWNT should be fine without her.

Yesterday on the ABC news I saw her interviewed for the first time with a teammate. They also showed some girls from England and other Americans. They all were very gracious and statesmen like almost. Trying to support their team and advance women's soccer for all. Except this chick. She came off as a bit arrogant and it was some joke or certainty she would win this for the team.

They also explained what her silly stance is after a goal or whatever. I guess she thinks she is doing the Gladiator are you not entertained thing. Whatever but maybe she is being reminded to be more team oriented here?
