I was at a beach resort. It was on at the pool bar. I didn't watch. I heard a couple people chant U-S-A while pounding their rum drinks. My niece, who is in the national team development program, didn't watch or seem lifted by the outcome.

As an outsider, I'll cheer for a turd draped in the US flag if it is battling against a turd in another flag. However, the heavy favorite won a tournament without having to break much of a sweat. That isn't exactly Miracle on Ice. In fact, it would be as if the Russians won the Miracle on Ice game.
