That is my problem with the unload the bullpen strategy. Every time you change pitchers, you risk that the guy you bring is going to have an off day like control issues and the like.

I have defended Maddon for the last time. Strop sucks. He should have used Kinzler in the 8th and not the hot head Strop. Strop is not good in high pressure situations. But what really put me over the edge was Decalso starting at 2nd hitting in front of Schwarber.
Decalso should not be starting when you need to score runs against the Pirates hot hitting lineup. Try to get him on track against a team like the Marlins, not your division rivals.
