That he’s not going to be the lights out closer that he was. That innings like he just completed are going to be the norm. Last years post season broke him. Hitters aren’t afraid of him anymore and he can’t find the plate . Just get used to it .

He is still a moderately effective closer but that looked like the guy I saw in the playoffs last year. He has zero command and when he has to dial it down to get it over the plate he gets punished. You can live well being just outside the zone with his velo and movement but you can't be 2 feet outside it.

My first game in July and I thought after the first inning it was going to be a bad night. If not for Almora's great catch and Javy's great throw to nail the runner at home to end the inning, who knows how many runs the Reds might have had in the first inning? I was surprised and impressed at the way Mills settled down and pitched after the first. I was very happy Schwarber ended it, so it didn't turn into a really long night. Now, lets get the win tomorrow and take another series!
