I will say the City is pretty fucking dirty. The air is so heavy with grime you smell like everything you touched, ate, or walked past.
July and August are by far my least favorite months to be there. It's miserable. The fact that a city like that still hasn't figured out how not to have trash bags piled up on the sidewalks is insane.

Other cities found a way to not have piles of garbage bags on the side walks.

From what I could tell, garbage day was Thursday and Monday.

I'm sure the city of NY would pay good money for your solution on this Brick.

It's about a 13.5 hour drive. Drove to Pennsylvania the first day. Spent the night. Got up, drove to Jersey and took the ferry over. Spent 5 days. Going home, drove straight through. Not really that big a deal. 2 day drive? What are you, some kind of pussy?

Last time I went to Colorado I drove straight thru on the way back. Listened to Dr. Sleep on tape.

I usually don't mind it but I drove straight through from San Antonio and that sucked. But, first and last trip to Texas so I don't have to worry.

Haven't read that. How was it?

One of the better ones.
I said it in another thread but this is one where he nailed the ending.

In college, my roommates and I drove 15 hours to Mt Rushmore, stayed an hour, and drove 15 hours back. The best part is my buddy who took all the pictures left them to be developed at Walmart all summer, never picked them up. No photographic proof. D’oh.

I had both! But, I can't recall which IPA of each. Both were tasty. Also had the Stonewall IPA (at the Stonewall Inn) that Brooklyn Brewery created.
