Mac, perhaps you could explain something sometime. You have mentioned before you liked Mitch when he was your boss. Is he really as dumb as he sounds? And if so, why in the hell would you want to work for him?

I'll bet after Mitch got off the air he called up his bosses and said Pappy is out of line with his comments.

I love how the rating system matters for everybody else but Pappy.

I have to say this about Mitch, he is the nicest guy you will meet. Always friendly and willingto talk with ya at remotes. I dont think he is "stupid", I just think he is trying to play both ends here and thats a mistake. He is Managment, he gets paid to think and carry out what CBS wants, not what Pappy wants.

Whatever you're smoking in Mexico City is starting to affect you. The only "back in the day' show worthy of resurrection is the Heavy Fuel Crew + Drinky as designated news guy/third wheel.

I'd like to think that Mac looks forward and not backwards. He's been doing nothing but moving forward since he wasn't an 'indentured servant' (as he called it) at WSCR.

Back towards the end of the Heavy Fuel Crew Show (which I loved btw), Terry was never wrong, and Danny Mac was riding shotgun on his high horse.

I prefer the Dan McNeil I've heard over the past several years at WMVP. Focused, prepared and respectful of his callers and emailers. Meanwhile, Terry is still never wrong and more bitter, and Bernsie is a much more belittling person than he was (and is) when he flies solo.

Just my 2 cents...

But hey.... that's why some people prefer Coke, and some prefer Pepsi. It's all about what trips your trigger.

You talking to me? I didn't work for the Score or for Mitch. I was a listener who was on the air regularly. Never an employee.

No doubt still justifying some odd decision they or a previous exec made.

From a logic standpoint, though, I too would move either Murph or Mully/Hanley to drive-in, then get a 4-hour shift out of the other team. Considering the score is set up for 4-hour shifts, running the two 2-hour shifts has been weird.

Hmm, maybe they like the opportunity to show their management ability at the brink of disaster. To the point of pushing things to the brink...
