No, the rule was that you could keep it, but you were immediately ejected from the game -- so you had a decision to make. I'm pretty sure you can just keep them now.

Mai Tai Guy used to be a regular at Brgrbelly in the early days, so much so that he shows up in both our "Chicago's Best" and "Check,Please!" videos. He lives in the neighborhood. I think he was sweet on a woman who worked there. When she left, he didn't come around as much. Last time I talked to him he said he spends most of his time and all his money at Wrigley.

There is something comforting about being able to be a baseball fan that no other sport will give you. It can become a culture. I'm sure it was even better back when the Cubs played nothing but day games. You could waste away half the year and still feel like you were doing something while building up friendships.

heres how i see it. and its probably unpopular. typically chances are if you are a kid who's sitting close enough to be on the receiving end of a ball, you probably get whatever you want anyway, so guess what, if its takes some sweaty large adult to show you that you don't always get what you want in life, then so be it.

and we are talking about a schwarber walk off HR ball, not a foul ball, end of inning ball, or bp hr. by my estimation his first. Go blow yourself kid.

I don't think anybody over 18 should be allowed in the park with a mit.. you look ridiculous, what is anybody over the age of 18 going to do with a ball? ..unless it's a milestone that can be sold back to the player.
