Remember Frank Lucchessi?

The guy that took over in '87 after Gene Michael was fired and before Zimmer was hired in 88? Team was a train wreck under him.
Dude even had a managerial baseball card because of this.

Well, Luchessi is dead at 92.

RIP.

There's a Luchessi pitching for the Padres the last couple years. Wonder if he's related.

Luchessi's pitchin' this weekend. Wonder if any relation to Frank.

He pitched good at Wrigley last year. Padres won.

They won 2 out of 3 here last year actually.

That was including the Erlin-Montgomery game.
