My oldest went from high school graduate to Doctor of Pharmacy, middle son is one semester shy of his Masters degree and my daughter has completed high school and most of her Bachelors degree. I gained about 40 pounds and developed high blood pressure while watching my strength, athleticism and agility disappear. Same job title, but gave up my supervisory role to kids who need the position to advance. I recognize that any tiny bit of attractiveness to other humans I had is now completely gone, and feel distant in almost all my old relationships, especially at home. I feel even farther behind in saving for retirement. I watched my Dad go from strong man with a disease to incompetent cripple to lifeless body.

Some good, some bad, I guess. C'est La Vie.
