Retiring/closing on July 31 after 70 years. I wonder how much the highway construction and expansion of the Mars Cheeses Castle affected their business. It's a shame. Best bacon around.

Last time we stopped, we found a great selection and good prices at the BP station on the East side of 94, with much less touristy crap.

We just had a baseball game in Milwaukee suburbs with the kid and we stopped on the way back to the Mars Cheese Castle (because that's the famous one) -- then in the parking lot, I pointed out the Bobby Nelson's down the road and I said that place is really good! But we were just tourists that weekend.
