Isn't that basically like calling for a fair catch and then running with the ball? You can't play a ball like that after you've signaled for a ground rule application on a ball in play.

Why did Rizzo get tossed, and what happened to KB?

I almost forgot to mention ... at about 5:26 on the radio broadcast, ZZ used the phrase "snatch catches". All I know is somebody better have gotten that cookie because it was clean front and back.

True.. But the road record is scary bad. Division winning teams dont piss the bed this bad on the road.

they are a fine road team.

I wish people would quit sensationalizing this.

They've been a GREAT road team since 2015. Almost TOO great. But things even out eventually so some of the amazing wins of the last few seasons, they are now losing some of those. But as the season winds down they will improve again because theyve always been a good road team.

Makes you wonder how they’ve won 95 games a year with him last few years doesn’t it ?????

Something is definitely wrong with Russell upstairs. I don't remember him making the quantity of bonehead plays like this year. If Russell had great numbers Joe wouldn't be throwing him under the bus for mental mistakes. How about Rizzo's bad baserunning? Who fucks up more than Joe? The frickin contact play when a Cub is on third and the ball is grounded to third. A sure out at home many times this year.

only division leading team with a losing record on the road; also only division leading team with under 60 wins.
