There was something on the web on Saturday that is setting him off. Or at least he said that bebe showed it to him on Saturday and its from a few days back.

And as we all know, the web is a wealth of truth...lol. North is paranoid, him and bebe spend their weekends scanning the internet for anything to do with Mike. Whats funny, after this all done and Mike is sitting at his home without a job, do you think he will realize that he is coming off as a major asswipe? I doubt it.

Isn't this just North trying to sound like he still matters? It's interesting to hear his reaction for a few minutes, but he's making this a big chunk of his shows. That should tell you what kind of sports material he has.

I caught some of this as well and just reading a little about this crap here on ther board and not really caring, I had to listen to Mike's petty rant about this whole thing for 5 minutes and the man sounds beaten.Would we have gotten this out of Mike 3 years ago? No , he's sounds so child-like and petty and the best thing he could do at this point is take his millions or a buy out and fade away.This show is just a train wreck and to try and get your management and co-workers involved in this is a show of a desperate man.

His show is an embarrassment to sports radio and Mike if your reading this I was a big fan of your work in the early days and you carved out a niche but you got lazy and your ego got the best of you because your best work is behind you. I repect the hell out of you from where you came from and as a former Score listener the station as whole has become unlistenable for me the past year.

Your feued with Teddy is helping your name stay in the public eye and your a pretty sly dog for fueling this as I'm not as dumb to think your not fueling this to keep your name out there and garner all the pub at this point because most people forgot who you were years ago. I would not be surprised if Mike and Teddy got together over a beer and put this fued together because this sounds a bit too weird that a writer and radio host would waste this much time on a guy losing his fastball.

I have no idea who's right/wrong, and don't care. North does claim he's got proof that he's lying, but I'm sure the truth is not as black/white as North made it appear.

I apologize for not being completely informed, it was Mike's decision for the Maxfield experiment, correct? If he is a stand up guy, he says "I made a mistake, the last three years are my fault and I plan to do a better job by..." I realize this won't happen, but I think it would gain a lot of respect back from his "fans".

I switched to decaf Vinnie and it's changed my whole out-look on things and it's made me a better speller.

He keeps saying how tomorrow, on NorthtoNorth.com, he'll prove that Dan McGrath (Sports Editor at the Trib) and Teddy Greenstein are journalistic frauds. He insists that he's being slandered by them. He also said he'll disprove that his ratings are low. Not sure how he'll do that.

I guess NorthtoNorth has not only become the pinnacle of journalistic integrity, but has also developed their own ratings monitoring system. BeBe must be putting the finishing touches on the article now...

Bottom line, it gives Teddy something to be entertained by, and us as well...

He might as well do a sit-in on B&B as well.

The fact that Mike and Bebe are going to sit down and reply to all of this is just to funny. Mike is way to stressed about this, I think there is more to the story here.

I don't see this Saturday article Mikey's all lathered up about on Chicagotribune.com.... did they pull this offensve column or something?

From what I could understand, Mike is saying that Teddy sent him an e-mail saying he called him and/or Jen to get their quotes for the article but they never returned his calls. He also said that Teddy called him "gutless."

According to Mike, he's going to have a meeting with the CIO of the Tribune to tell him what frauds McGrath and Greenstein are and get them fired.

So this is all about a private email? He's bascially threatened Teddy with violence over a personal email that never should have been made public?

Oh, and what happened to talking about sports on this great sports talk show? I didn't hear a DAMN THING about sports today, just baout Mikey's wallet, Teddy Greenstein, and some trash about NorthtoNorth.com. Nothing about Cubs taking 2 of 3, nothing about the Open, nothing about Konerko being injured, NOTHING about sports. WTF.

From what I caught, I think North read an email from Teddy where Teddy said he tried to call Jen twice. North disputes it and was adamant to not call Jen's integrity into question.

Then, he said that North was gutless just like Zimmerman and Agase told him.

I think that was it.

I was kind of hoping Greenstein hadn't actually written that because he didn't come off too well either if he had.

North has been bored talking about sports for some time. He's actually said that when he's on remotes talking to guests.

Right, and like I've alluded to before when he does actually talk about them it's usually in reference to gambling. Like in the first update this morning how the Lakers have screwed him the past 3 games.

During the rant he dropped something along the lines that he is not leaving any time soon in the context of revelations planned to be unveiled on his website. In my interpretation it means that he is close to signing a deal in the next day or so.

I hope that Mike North’s contract gets extended (and I’m sure that Bebe hopes that Mike gets an extension to take care of that Irish Curse). How else would I find out how the Dons did in summer league play?

I think Teddy should write about Mike North being gay. There is plenty of evidence:

o Works with a guy in Fred that likes to have sleep-overs with other men.
o He used to handle sausages for a living.
o He likes to talk about high school boys.
o His over the top sexual conversations/references with Jen can be construed as his “beard.”

Not that I know Teddy, but I'd think he'd keep his communication with North more professional and not get as personal as North does, but I can understand how dealing with a complete ignoramus like that would be exasperating and make someone do something a little out of character.

Did North even take a call today?

The failed attempt at a general topics show was testament to this.
